Making Dreams Come True

Who said dreams can't come true?! Dreams have a way of becoming a reality when you combine hard work and faith. When I am not taking care of my husband and family, working or serving at my church, I am chasing my dreams. I am currently pursing my bachelor's degree in business, and I thoroughly enjoy fashion designing, baking or decorating. As an event planner, it is my dream to help make your dreams a beautiful memory!!

It's All In The Details

Three little ladies, 12 bunches of collard greens, 6 bunches of mustard greens, a tub for washing, knives for cutting and bowls for collecting. That's how it all began! Every year, since I was old enough to help with the preparation of our family's Thanksgiving meals, the daughters of Fred and Sharon Sirmones have looked forward to this tradition. My late grandfather started the tradition of celebrating our family reunions during the Thanksgiving holiday. My family consists of 15 Aunts and Uncles and a host of children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and so on (hence the 18 bunches of greens). While tending to the greens, my sisters and I would talk about having our own decorating business. It was there, sitting in a chair, with a bowl, knife and a mountain of greens, my dreams began to take form. It would be many years later, God would use my grandmother to speak life into my dream, rekindling the flames that danced so low in my memories. From decorating small events for about 30 people to decorating a large anniversary celebration of 200 people I am actively making my dream a reality.  And there you have it.... A Touch of Utopia was born.
